Following graduation from India in 2000, Arun undertook a three-year training course in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery. This oral surgical experience was furthered later in Morriston Hospital, Swansea and Royal & Devon NHS hospital, Exeter. He was subsequently awarded the MFDS by The Royal College of Surgeons of England, London, in 2005. This experience has enhanced his oral surgery skills, to manage difficult tooth extractions, including challenging wisdom teeth. Recently, this passion for oral surgery was complimented by the completion of a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology at Cambridge. Arun has been placing dental implants successfully since 2015 and keeps up to date attending regular training and courses. He has attended training on advanced hard and soft tissue management relating to the implantology through world-renowned speakers.

His other main interests in dentistry lie with minimally invasive and cosmetic dentistry, and he has undertaken a one-year Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry programme.

Arun is an Invisalign provider and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Orthodontics. With this further skill set Arun’s vision of providing holistic dentistry will be complemented.

He is married with one son and, in his spare time, he enjoys running, playing competitive badminton and football regularly.

He supports the British Red Cross and has volunteered to work in a cleft lip & palate unit in India. He has taken part in raising funds for multiple charitable organisations through walking, running and cycling challenges. He volunteers providing free dental care for the homeless through a charity organisation.
