Invisalign® Shepshed
Invisalign® is a clear, removable alternative to fixed braces. It is a simple, comfortable way to straighten teeth using custom-made aligners that gradually move them into place. No wires, no brackets – just results you will notice.
At our practice in Shepshed, we are Invisalign® providers. We offer full treatment for adults and teens looking to improve their smile discreetly – with a team who will guide you every step of the way.
Why Invisalign®?
You wear each set of aligners for about 1–2 weeks, then move to the next set. Little by little, your teeth shift into place – and your smile starts to take shape.

Clear and discreet – most people would not even know you are wearing them

Removable – take them out to eat, drink, brush and floss

Comfortable – smooth plastic with no metal or wires

Tailored to you – every aligner is custom-made for your teeth

Backed by experience – over 15 million people worldwide have had Invisalign treatment

Straighten your smile – without anyone noticing

Invisalign® for real life
One of the best things about Invisalign is how easily it fits into your day. You can:
Perfect if you have got work meetings, events, or just want to feel like yourself while your smile improves.
Here is what you can expect from your Invisalign® journey:
We will examine your teeth, chat about your goals, and see if Invisalign is a good fit. If it is, we will take a digital scan – no messy impressions.
Using 3D software, we will show you what your teeth could look like after treatment – before you even start.
Your aligners are made just for you and arrive in sets. You wear them around 20–22 hours a day, taking them out only for meals and brushing.
You will come in every few weeks so we can check progress and give you your next aligners. Most treatments take 6–18 months, depending on your case.
Once treatment is complete, we will fit you with retainers to keep your teeth in place and help your results last.

You might be wondering...
Is Invisalign® painful?
Most people feel mild pressure for a day or two when starting a new set of aligners – it is a sign things are working. It is far gentler than traditional braces.
Do I need retainers afterwards?
Yes – like all orthodontic treatment, you will need to wear retainers to keep your teeth in their new position. We will provide and fit them for you.
What if I lose an aligner?
Let us know straight away. We will advise whether to move to the next set or reorder a replacement, depending on where you are in your plan.
Can I drink coffee with Invisalign®?
You will need to take your aligners out when drinking anything hot, like coffee or tea, to avoid warping the plastic. Stick to water while they are in, and pop them out for anything else.
Will Invisalign® change how I speak?
You might notice a slight lisp for the first few days as your mouth adjusts – but most people adapt quickly, and it soon goes away. The aligners are thin and smooth, so they would not get in the way for long.
